OLS

Music Lessons are made available at the OLS-Seton campus through private instruction.

Guidelines
  1. Lessons are available during the school day or after school depending on schedule. Flute, clarinet, saxophone, piano/keyboard, percussion, trombone, trumpet, french horn or recorder are available for instruction.
  2. Students must provide their own instruments. They may use one from home if it is in good condition or instruments can be rented from a local music store.
  3. Music books and/or materials must be purchased.
  4. Lesson duration is ½ hour or 1 school period long, depending on the teacher. Students at some schools will be on a rotating schedule.
  5. Students are expected to practice daily as they would with a sport or any school subject in order to make desired progress.
  6. Students must make up any classroom work missed by being at a lesson.
  7. It is the responsibility of the student to be prompt at each lesson. Lateness will not extend the lesson time.
  8. Payment is expected for all forgotten lessons. Legal absences will not be charged.
