Can my children attend OLS-Seton if they are not Catholic?
OLS-Seton as well as all of the Catholic Schools of Broome County admit students of any religion, race, color or sex.
What is considered affiliated?
Affiliated means being a registered member of a Catholic parish.
Do you follow NYS Curriculum?
OLS-Seton follows New York State and Diocesan curriculum guidelines.
Are your teachers certified?
All of our teachers are certified by the New York State Education Department.
Can my child be bussed to school?
Transportation is provided through your child's public school district. Forms are available through the school's office until April 1st. After that date, you must contact the district.
Do you offer AP (Advanced Placement) and honors classes?
OLS-Seton offers AP classes in Math and Science. Private tutoring is also available based on individual need.
Are financial aid and scholarships available?
Yes, families in our system are eligible for financial aid. To apply for aid obtain a PSAS application at any of our schools and submit the application by the application deadline.
What is the tuition rate?
Tuition rate for the school is set by the diocese and can be viewed on the Catholic Schools of Broome County (CSBC) website.
Do I have to pay all at once?
There are several payment plans available. Call the Catholic Schools Office at 607-723-1547 to find the method that best works for you.
Do the students have to wear a uniform?
Yes, OLS-Seton students from Pre-K through 8th grade are required to wear a uniform. Our dress code policy can be found in the student handbook.
Do you offer before or after school care?
OLS-seton offers both a before and after school care program. Our before school care begins at 7:30am and after school care begins immediately at dismissal and runs until 6pm.
Do you have computers?
OLS-Seton has a computer lab which is open to all students; the second floor of building is WiFi accessible.
